Call" come and minister to us. It was an awesome time in the presence of the Lord! We are looking forward to see what
the Lord is stirring up among our congregation!

CommentsTuesday, September 13, 2011 Spark in the ParkSaturday was the first annual "Spark in the Park" event,
held in Frederic. It was hosted by Grayling Baptist Church and featured 3 area praise bands and several smaller acts. It was
an awesome time of fellowship and music. God's praises were sang in Frederic for sure!

CommentsI would like to send a special thanks to Dave Runyan http://www.runyanmedia.com/ and Mike Doremire for donating their time, the use of their equipment and their expertise. This event just wouldn't have been the same without them. Thanks again guys!!! The kids had a great time. I could not believe the size of the giant blow up Titanic slide. The smiles on people's faces was priceless as they would come up and recieve their door prizes. We gave away 4-$50 grocery certificates for Save A Lot, 4-$25 grocery certificates for Save A Lot, $50 gas cards, and a free lunch and free breakfast were donated by the 4-Seasons Cafe' in Frederic which were also given away as door prizes. Thanks Grayling Baptist for inviting us to this event! We were very blessed to be a part of it! Thanks to our praise and worship team, I was very pleased with our part in this event. We will be eagerly looking forward to next year's event!!!!! Tuesday, July 26, 2011 Sound ChangesWell, we have experienced our first Sunday service after changing
our sound system around a bit. It seems to be a lot better and we didn't have to deal with all the feedback issues that we

CommentsDon't forget that tomorrow night is the last Wednesday of the month. That means that we get to gather together for another "Harp & Bowl" service. set of "Discovery City" has been taken down and put away. The drama was really great this year for VBS. Thanks to
everyone who helped with the tear down and clean up!
Pastor Smoke & Dennis moved the sound equipment back down and set the stage back up for the worship team. You will notice that the speakers are once again in a different place. We have been on a quest to find the best set up to deal with the acoustics of the sanctuary and reduce the feedback that seems to plague us at certain times. Please bear with us. You will notice that the front couple of rows of the two center seating sections are a little louder than the rest of the sanctuary. If you like worship with a little more volume, this is where you will want to sit. If you like it a little bit quieter, then sit anywhere else in the sanctuary. The rest of the seating in the sanctuary seems to be real steady. We hope to have a better quality of sound with these changes. Thanks!
