What began as a Bible Study in the Spring of 1999 in one of the homes of our members, soon grew and the church ventured out of the home into a conference center at the Day's Inn under the direction of Pastor Jimmy McWatters.

A new vision arose in November of 1999 to become associated with Resurrection Life Church in Grandville, MI., with Pastor Duane Vander Klok. The church continued to meet at the conference center for the next five years experiencing a steady growth.

It was the saga of three area church bodies, each independent of the other, forming and growing in Roscommon, Higgins Lake and in Houghton Lake-Prudenville. All three choose to become part of Resurrection Life, one thriving, vital church family and community focused Christian outreach.

The first "branch" was a new church started by Rev. Jim Cousineau and his wife Sue. They were meeting in the Higgins Lake area at St. Hubert's church. The second was the remnant of a cell (home) group which began in 1994 in the Houghton Lake-Prudenville area under the direction of Pastor Dick Duprey. The third "branch" to later be grafted in was started in early 1999 as an offshoot of a Cadillac church led by Pastor Tim Mann where they began meeting at the C.R.A.F. Center in Roscommon. All three fellowships came together and joined with Pastor Jimmy McWatters to form Resurrection Life Fellowship-Grayling. In the winter of 2003, Pastor Bud Mann was asked to take the church over by Pastor Jimmy. As we continued to experience growth we began looking for property to be able to establish some real roots in the Grayling area and in May of 2007 we were blessed to move into our new church home. Now known as Resurrection Life Center where we find ourselves continuously celebrating God's goodness and His grace.
